Grant Applications

All applications for a grant must be for projects which initiate or support activities which promote the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. An application must be received in writing either by letter or as an e-mail attachment in MS Word or PDF format. All applicants must complete and include the official application form. Applications received without this form will not be accepted.

Please include:

  • Full details of the project concerned
  • Full contact details (including an e-mail address and telephone number)
  • A financial proposal, the aims of the project and the proposed timescales
  • Your UK Charity number and name
  • Full bank account details (account name, sort code and account number)

Receipt of applications is not usually acknowledged, but all applicants will receive a letter informing them of the Trustees decision.

Grants are normally made quarterly following the Trustees meetings, which are held at the beginning of March, June, September, and December. Applications must be received at least two weeks prior to a meeting in order to be properly assessed. If the application does not reach us by this cut-off date it will automatically be carried forward to the next quarter. Any grant that is made is at the discretion of the Trustees, who will not enter into any discussion or correspondence should an application be declined.

The Trust will not accept applications:

  • That directly replace statutory funding
  • That are for the benefit of one or two individuals
  • From an applicant who previously applied for funding less than 12 months ago
  • For work that has already taken place
  • For medical research
  • For staff salaries
  • For animal welfare
  • For endowment funds
  • That are part of general appeals or circulars
  • For building or major refurbishment projects
  • For the running costs of established organisations
  • For the support of large national charities
  • That are not from UK Registered Charities
  • From outside of the United Kingdom
